Overview
This was a donation to Hillel for their recently built building on Uconn's Campus in Storrs Ct.It consisted of 3 paintings…the large piece placed between the two interior doors and two narrow matching pieces placed on either side of the outside doors. They depict a set of tablets, and pick up some of the tones of the larger piece, while not competing the focal work of art.
Goals
The lobby was a neutral color and I wanted to add some vibrant tones that would be welcoming to the students who frequent the building. While the theme is Judaic, the textures and materials were selected with the students in mind. The frame of the menorah is created with a pair of blue jeans.
