Overview

This mirror polished stainless steel tree sculpture is an artwork customized for an artist, which is installed in California, USA, in 2017. The whole pieces size is stand 7.63 meters high, the exterior surface panel is fabricated by stainless steel 316L which with high mirror polishing finish, while the interior structure we use 316L stainless steel as well to make sure its life permanence.

Goals

It is a giant stainless steel banyan tree, also called People Trees, it was temporarily exhibition at the Monnaie de Paris. And you can see all kinds of utensils hanging on this stainless steel tree, meanwhile, you can also see its prominent ”aerial prop roots”, which reflects the artist's attitude towards daily life.

Process

3D design, model optimization, fabrication, surface treatment, packing, transportation, installation.

Now, such a giant high polished stainless steel people tree was finally installed in California, USA, this is already his second work of art there.
