Solid mesquite slab dining table. Quilted maple and glass inlay. Mesquite slab trestle base. Mesquite is rescued wood. Durable hand-rubbed tung oil based finish. Dimensions: 8'1″ x 44″ x 30″ tall. Original design with hand-carved signature by Earl Nesbitt.
Goals
I combine my original designs with the highest quality materials and the finest craftsmanship to create one-of-a-kind pieces of collectible solid wood fine art furniture. With each new piece I am constantly exploring new techniques to push the limits of solid wood design.
Process
Collaboration between myself and the client was an important part of creating this project from the beginning.
Additional Information
The details of this custom piece took my abilities as a furniture maker and designer to a new level. In my 20 plus year career, this was my finest piece.
