Nature-inspired sculptural canopy that provides a respite from the sweltering Florida sun while creating beautiful patterns on the ground.
The structure is made of aluminum and finished with powder coating. Located at James Bradley Park, in Lauderhill FL

Goals

MERIDIAN was created to beautify the park and provide a welcoming focal point and a sheltered space for park goers to gather. Our goal for this project was to transform the space into a special place, a distinctive place, for the park and the community. The purpose of the canopy is to celebrate and reinforce the role of regional parks as civic anchors and places of community gathering.
