Client: Hallman Lindsay Paints

Overview

This project consisted of two powder coated kinetic steel dragon sculptures. The dimensions are 12' x 4' x 12' & 9' x 3' x 9' and the sculptures have a signature splatter paint finish.

Goals

The larger than life size sculptures were chosen to be colorful and whimsical to bring a joyful iconic presence to the company campus.

Process

The clients discovered my sculpture at an art fair, and we entered into a planning phase via email that led to the installation of the Dragons two months later.

Additional Information

I finished the sculpture with my signature splatter paint finish to emphasize the creative use of paint. It was rewarding when the dragons were named Stirstix and Pigment by the clients, lending a personalized sculptural presence to the company's culture.
