Overview
wedekindWorks was requested to provide an abstract, edgy pattern that had a musical feel and provided a focal point in the acoustic performance space. wedekindWorks pattern was digitally printed onto polyester fabric and wrapped a 27' x 10' acoustic panel for the lobby/acoustic performance space.
Goals
Guests mingle here before a performance in the high-tech broadcast space or to enjoy an acoustic performance. There is also a coffee house for the Musicians Institute students. The acoustic panel size (27' x 10') and location were required by the acoustician for the acoustic performance space of the project.
Process
Live House Hollywood provides a high-end 300 capacity performance venue that has broadcast TV capability, lobby area with an acoustic stage and cafe, and 4 professional dance studios in 15,000 square feet of new construction designed by Twichell Studio: architects. wedekindWorks worked closely with the architect and the acoustician to meet the acoustic and design needs for the acoustic performance space
