Overview

A total of three interior doors, (the border only dining room door is not shown), totaling approximately 30 square feet.

Goals

The architect was restoring a craftsman style cottage and the clients wanted privacy in the library where the wife often worked while at the same time allowing light from the exterior library windows into the living room.

Process

We were brought on board by the architect who had done a line drawing sketch of her idea for the library doors. We took part in several meetings with the client and architect going over techniques and approaches. The client wanted us to stay as true to the architect's sketch as possible and still achieve the goal. We did a sample for approval.
