Overview
Leap Frog Bridge is comprised of two welded aluminum pieces. Height is 6 1/2 feet by 12 feet and 9 feet. Attached to concrete by bolts into anchors.
Goals
Project is to enhance the residential and commercial area in Lakeview, a community in Chicago's near north side. The piece was chosen for its human figure size, depiction of movement, and affinity in shapes to the buildings.
Process
The project's success is shown by how well it has been accepted in three different locations since it was first installed due to construction in nearby buildings.
