Overview
I love the idea of capturing a quick spontaneous gesture, suspending it in time, and in this case enlarging to a large scale. Sometimes less is more, and for this piece I wanted to have a minimalistic line gesture, but also for it to suggest unlimited possibilities.
The surface is this piece is reflective mirror, so the appearance is always changing depending on the lighting, and by whatever is moving in front of it.
9′ wide x 6.5′ tall, mirrored acrylic.
Purchased and installed at JLL Corporate offices in Atlanta, GA.

Goals
The goal was to accentuate a focal area of the space with a wall piece, which would compliment yet not overwhelm where it hangs.
Process
I had completed a wall painting/mural in another floor of the space, and was shown this particular space they were trying to figure out what to do with. It's an airy, natural light filled location, so it needed to be something which fills the space, yet not dominating.
I proposed this design first, and it clicked with all involved from the beginning. Six months later we were hanging the actual commissioned piece in the space, which was a real thrill.
