Overview
The Kaiser Roseville Riverside Cirby Medical Office building is a five story, 210,000 square foot complex. It is home to several provider offices, a large laboratory, as well as expanded services. The departments within the complex include, optical sales, pharmacy, physical therapy, ophthalmology, women’s health, imaging and an MRI suite.
Goals
With careful consideration of the diversity of the services that this facility offers, we set out to provide an experience that is sophisticated, elegant, and tangible in a metaphorical sense. One stand out aspect of this building is the "Thrive" staircase, which provides walking access to all five floors. A handmade glass installation hangs from the ceiling, extending down the center of the staircase from top to bottom. This installation encourages visitors to use the stairs as they travel from floor to floor.
