Overview
Employing a minimalist approach of form and color, “Iterations” works within the mind's innate disposition to perceive patterns utilizing proximity, similarity, and symmetry. It is within this structure that if something is meaningful it might be worth repeating; an idea promulgated by Eva Hesse.
The installation is a visual cacophony drawing attention to meaningfulness. The thousands of individual components in the installation, along with their uncomplicated shape, color, and positioning further the conversation on uniqueness and meaning.
