Overview

Venue Arts created an 18-ft tall, two ton, rock crystal obelisk….. the only one of its kind in the world …… for the entrance of the Spa Tower, a luxurious 928 hotel room and spa facility expansion to the popular Bellagio Resort & Casino..

Goals

Bellagio Resort & Casino wanted an exquisite icon for the new conservatory entrance. Venue Arts chose an obelisk design because of the passionate attraction to this form throughout history and rock crystal because of the its inherent luxurious qualities particularly for this architectural application.

Process

Stephen Stefanou collaborated with Keith Critchlow of the Royal College in London, the world's leading expert in Sacred Geometry for the design of this unique project. Sacred Geometry is the ancient art and science which reveals the nature of humankind's relationship to the cosmos.

Additional Information

Venue Arts is working on other projects utilizing rock quartz crystal as the artistic medium.
