Overview
A conceptual installation created for a larger show of my work at WIlliam Traver Gallery in Seattle, WA. A false door was hammered to the wall over an actual door, painted to disappear into the surrounding walls. An LED was placed within the recess of the suspended door to project light through the keyhole.
Process
I created the sculptures, fixtures and the false door. The gallery staff assisted in the installation and painting.
Additional Information
No one attempted to climb the steps--neither the glass steps, nor the shadowy steps. This is both a relief and a disappointment.
