Overview
Go Figure is a temporary installation in a gallery space that is approximately 1,250 sq ft. It is comprised of four copies of a delineated figure that are chain mailed with one another. It is made of laser-cut aluminum sheet and is powder coated in a CMYK palette.
Goals
As a temporary installation the project is seemingly indifferent to the space it occupies. In fact the figures are organized according to the structural bays that is evident in the concrete walls and ceiling beyond the white walls of the gallery. The intent was to confound the distinction between a singular object and a group of objects while organizing space with arcuated figures.
