Overview
Building scale 65 feet tall x 41 feet wide x 106 feet long. Combination of RGB LED strip lighting and RGB LED wash lighting. I had to design ten aluminum fabrications to protect the lights, install the lighting on the building, and hide the cables running to each LED line (27).
Goals
The Board of the Trout Museum of Art saw the New York Times article of Stamford Train Station and contacted me about beautifying their building with a permanent fine art lighting installation. I was onsite for 3 months to make this happen, working with teams in New York and Appleton. This year I will be showing paintings and sculptures inside the Museum (solo exhibition).
Process
I was the artist, designer, producer, contractor. I ran the entire project. I worked with teammates to implement technical details regarding programming and electricity. This is the most challenging project I have ever successfully accomplished
