Goals
The goal was to depict the four young freshmen from A&T University who spearheaded the Sit-in movement in the modern struggle for Civil Rights.
Process
I built a maquette. Upon approval by the Chancellor and alumni, the piece was created, taking the site and proportion into consideration.
Additional Information
This piece is now a popular stop on the Civil Rights Trail bringing daily local, national and international visitors.
