Created for the Urban Confluence public art competition for San Jose, to mark the birth of the computer industry

Goals

Creation of a landmark sculpture a local park to commemorate the birth of the computer industry

Process

I worked with the LA-based lighting designers Visual Terrain and Lisa Passamonte to create this work. the sculptor (and my daughter) Hannah Vaughan modeled the tower and we worked together to modify the design until we were happy. Drone Iyangar also helped with the modeling. The end result was animated by the Visual Terrain team.
