Overview
The Client requested a life size version of an 18” high sculpture.
Goals
The goal was to create a life size version and retain the same feeling as the original. A woman is standing in a pose that speaks of her strength and resolve. Her arms are outstretched with one palm turned downward and the other turned up suggesting duality and balanced interactions of opposite yet complimentary elements.
Process
The original bronze was scanned and digitally enlarged and milled to 6’-0” high. Clay is being sculpted now and casting and instillation scheduled for fall 2022.
