Overview
Crystal Mist is composed of a total of 245 spheres, 230 spires and 65 bowls and weighs in at 600 pounds. The 6' in diameter by 14' tall chandelier is featured in the Condo Lobby of Tapestry at Brentwood Town Center in Brentwood, Tennessee. The chandelier cascades from the ceiling and is the ultimate feature piece for the modern space.
Goals
Gappa worked hand in hand with Interior Designer, Stephanie Moore Hager to create this incredible sea of cascading glass. The intent was to create a soft and elegant, yet powerful installation that captured an icy mist of cascading rain.
Process
Collaboration between our team and the Designers is paramount for a successful project. Gappa has a Masters in Architecture and worked as an Architectural Designer for 10 years. Coordination between, Architects, Interior Designers, Structural & Electrical Engineers, and Contractors comes second nature to Gappa and makes for a seamless integration between design development and project coordination.
