Overview
3'x5' relief mural with 30 LF of relief listellos. All mural and listellos both handbuild one off with platinum and gold luster details.
Goals
The goal was to have a one of a kind, truly personal home.The integration of artwork was thought of from the very beginning of this residential project. The house was all new construction. I worked with the builder, designer and client from blueprints to installation.
Process
Collaboration involved the designer, builder and client on all the images of the ceramic work. In her bath the client wanted a relaxing, playful bath that refers to the location and her passion for all things of the gulf waters. We started with "what would you like to see everyday? What colors are relaxing to you"
Additional Information
This was a dream commission. The client wanted handmade and originally designed tile throughout their new home that sits on the bay on Longboat Key, on Florida's gulf coast.
