Overview

This project providing a dome up lamp at the entryway wall sconces and pendant lighting.I first blew paper thin bubbles and then laid them out on a sheet of glass to fuse them all together. Once fused I then slumped or shaped the fused glass into a dome shape for the uplight, drilled and hung with contemporary hardware. I then made small gold luster shades for the monorail in kitchen. the finale was the three dimensional wall triptych fused blown glass and slumped and built into a light box. LED lighting was installed.

Goals

The primary goal was to create color and feel, warm tones organic in nature.

Process

We wanted to balance the colors with the overall theme of the home and keeping it warm and inviting for the living space as well as promote high quality art .
