Overview
After the major renovation, the Library’s former main fasade became a “back” of the building, still facing one of the main streets of the city. The architects suggested to enhance the old wall by dividing it in smaller segments and creating small courtyards for public enjoyment. Some of the partition was were open for public art installations. Community wall mosaic was created to reflect and represent history, culture and nature of Palos Hills. It was created using mixed media.
