Overview

Certainty of Ambiguity is free-standing, measuring 12 x 12 inches, like a vanity mirror. This feeling of intimacy is accentuated by the interaction with it, programming it with a person’s PIN numbers transmitted as text messages from their cell phone. Birthdate, phone number, snippets of credit card and social security numbers animate patterns on the surface of the fiber optic weave emphasizing peripheries, corners, and the absence of color.
