Overview

An abstract and geometric sculpture (47¨ H x 34¨ L x 26¨ W), evoking a dancer in reverence after her act (an exercise in which the ballet dancer, pay respect to and acknowledge the audience). The study in fluid motion, express the flexibility, strength, grace and beauty of a dancer. The bronze sculpture draws our attention from the entrance of the house to the living room and creates a beautiful focal point without interrupting the view of the outside garden.

Goals

The intention was to create a central sculpture for the interior of a new private residence that would express the passion of the owners and inspire the family on a daily basis.

Process

In this commission I started with a personal consultation and a later appointment to analyze the space and better understand the needs and preferences of the family. After that, I presented four design options in drawings and photomontage. Once the design was selected and agreed, I offered a detailed proposal outlining the project's scope, including process, timeline, and budget.
