Overview
This is a 3 year temporary installation of twenty life-size and larger sculptures in bronze that were placed on the one mile median of the Avenue of Stars street located in Century City, CA. The placement of the animals surptures surrounded by sky scrapers, hotels, and condomimiums, was a pleasant surprise to many who saw the installation.
Process
Carl Schlosberg, project leader, had the idea to place my sculptures on the median. We worked together with my team of 3 people, the Chamber of Commerce, engineers, traffic control as well as the local businesses
Additional Information
The flowing lines of the figurative sculptures were very complimentary to the straight lines of the buildings. Even though, one would think that the sculptures would be dwarfed by the large buildings, it wasn't the case. The exhibition was well loved by the community. It is still missed to this day.
