Overview

Scrap metal, life-sized, welded “wall” horses located in the airport lobby. The goal was to give visitors a sense of hanging out amidst the horse herd as they waited for their flight.

Process

The City of Medicine Hat was looking for a transportation themed artwork for the large grey walls of the newly renovated airport. They approved of my proposal and agreed that horses fall under the theme of “transportation “ and spoke to the rich history of Medicine Hat and it’s involvement with horses.

Additional Information

I really enjoyed working on this project and was happy with how it really does feel like you are standing amidst a bunch of horses at the airport!
