The best art commissions tell a story. I employ the power of story to make meaningful visual experiences. Many artworks are inspired by community stories or the journey of a single person but the inspiration is often muffled or forgotten. I build both the artwork and the story to create a lasting potent experience. In my process, the artwork is often born from the story. But sometimes, it’s the opposite. The artwork comes first then I craft the story. So, know that some of the stories associated with my artwork are of my own creation.
