Jacob van der Beugel is an artist who specializes in large scale architectural commissions, based in the UK. He has recently completed The DNA Room for the King and Queen of the Netherlands and The North Sketch Sequence at Chatsworth House, UK. These installations are situated within Grade 1 listed buildings and required an extraordinary sensitivity to site, whist also retaining a unique contemporary aesthetic. Van der Beugel's works humanize rationalizations from scientific data such as DNA. The depiction of music has also featured within his work. Van der Beugel has worked with distinguished architects, design teams and renowned clients.
