NiNo was born and raised in Puerto Rico where he started his art education. He moved to Indiana, completing a BA in Fine Arts/Graphic Design from IPFW. Moved to Los Angeles and has been working as a Production Designer/Art Director for TV, film, music videos and tours, including Ricky Martin's Las Vegas residency and his current World Tour. He's known for being the 1st Puerto Rican to ever bring art to the world renowned Burner Man Art Event with "Got Framed" in 2015 and 2016. He was also the 2017 Honoraria Art Grant recipient for his wise owl "MÚCARO" that led him to #MÚCARO4PR, presently in development in his homeland. He fabricated and installed big art installations for different artists in Los Angeles, Texas and Maine to name just a few. In 2021, his outreach community art piece program "Múcaro's Rising", a floor basketball court mural located in Loíza, was recognized as one of CODAworx Awards Top 100 Commissioned Art pieces in the world. His dedication and love for city art involving communities continues to grow, his goal is to continue inspiring youth through art. Personally what fulfills him the most is creating spaces that provoke thought and conversation.
